Member for Bendigo West, Maree Edwards MP, today announced that Kangaroo Flat RSL Sub-branch will receive funding through the Victoria Remembers Major Grant Program for a project to develop a new memorial wall at the Soldiers Memorial site in Kangaroo Flat, to acknowledge the 65 Kangaroo Flat service personnel from WWI.
The State Government will contribute $80,000 to the memorial wall with the City of Greater Bendigo providing project management and undertake landscape enhancements on the existing historic site to complement the new wall
