QUESTIONS ASKED OF MINISTER OVER FUTURE OF MCCRAE STREET TAFE CAMPUS

With the resumption of Parliament this week, Member for Bendigo West, Maree Edwards said she had submitted questions to the Minister for Skills and Higher Education Peter Hall regarding the future of the Bendigo TAFE Campus in McCrae Street (see below).

“Given the rumours circulating about the future of the McCrae Street campus it is up to the National Party Minister to answer these questions and let the Bendigo community know what his Government’s plans are for TAFE in Bendigo”.

“The National Party’s complicity with their Liberal colleagues in gutting our TAFE’s across Victoria has put the Bendigo TAFE in a precarious situation”.

“With millions cut from the sector and the loss of 100’s of jobs, courses cut and fee hikes it is imperative that the Minister answer these questions about Bendigo TAFE’s future”.
